Sintra, located just outside Lisbon, was full of mist and fog, whatever the weather. This meant I was able to capture some very atmospheric images in a setting full of historic architecture and vast landscapes.
Misty Mountains
Above is the National Palace of Sintra. The historical themes in these images would also fit in to an Assassin's Creed-type scene.

When walking around Pena Palace, I was interested in capturing objects of interest and then the vistas that we were able to see from one of the highest palaces in Sintra. For the landscape shots I found that in Lightroom, raising the Clarity of the image gave a really nice look to the mist and vegetation, bringing out the deeper blacks and giving a more exciting atmosphere.
