CG Animation Practice
In order to create the CG Animation, I practiced using Cinema 4D to animate and render out a model and then using After Effects to chroma key and camera track the scene, compositing the animation onto the background.

In Cinema 4D I opened a downloaded model of an object from Star Wars. I then aligned it with the background footage.
I keyframed the model so that it would respond to being shot at, by the legs collapsing quickly, using videos of the models used in the Star Wars films as a reference to their behaviour.
I then replaced the background with a green colour so that I could key out the green later.
I opened this footage in After Effects, in a new composition and set the resolution and FPS accordingly.
I keyed out the background using the Keylight plugin in After Effects and the result is shown to the left.

Below shows where I imported the background into Cinema 4D.
