Whilst sightseeing around Edinburgh, I was keen to capture good quality images and also good images specifically for this exam project. Often this would be related to rain, as a result of the weather conditions. I selected the best images to edit and adjust, which are displayed on this page.

These photos are taken around Edinburgh, particularly looking at some of the detail in the buildings, which I accentuated using the clarity tool in Lightroom. Below, I gave the image a calmer look by adding a cream colour overlay gently on top. This decreased the intensity and depth of the black tones, providing the calmer feel, that helps the background flow into the foreground more easily.
