Andreas Wonisch, a landscape photographer who uses Flickr as a medium to share his photos, has captured some breathtaking atmospheric perspective images of fog, mist and light rays. I picked this photographer because his images were eye-capturing; entailing high resolution, interesting locations with creative composition - e.g. use of the Rule of Thirds. Also many of his images were atmospheric, which is expected in landscape photographers' portfolios.

A lot of these photographers also make the most of the 'Golden Hour'. This is usually around sunrise and sunset, lasting for an hour. It is attractive to many photographers because of the warmer, red skies and amazing sunset/sunrise colours. This, coupled with morning dew/fog can result in impressive results, that could not be acheived at midday. The reason is that the sun is at its lowest at those times, so it travels through more depth of atmosphere, thus the illumination comes predominantly from the indirect light from the Sun, as opposed to direct light. This also produces long shadows, which can look great. Different exposures can be used to acheive different results at these times and a large amount of Wonisch's images are taken during the Golden Hours.

He also photographs from a range of locations; these are carefully thought out, as well as time of day, so that the best photos can be captured. A lot of his landscapes are powerful because they have been captured from a high-up location, allowing for wide vistas and lots of depth.
